Today, Apple CEO Steve Jobs gave his annual Macworld Stevenote speech in San Francisco's Moscone West. There, he continued the tradition of unveiling some sweet new products to the tech-hungry generation of today. He rolled out many things, including:
- MacBook Air; the world's thinnest notebook, packing all the punch!
- iPhone and iPod touch software updates giving some great new features to the devices
- Time Capsule: an Airport Extreme and a Server Grade Hard Drive rolled into one base "appliance"
- a new Apple TV interface to go along with a new development...iTunes Movie rentals
The movie rentals took up a nice portion of the keynote, in which Jobs demoed how you could rent movies through iTunes to watch on a variety of platforms, and also rent directly from the Apple TV. The cool part about the Apple TV is that a bunch of movies are available in HD and Dolby Digital 5.1 Sound. Apple has also gotten every major studio to sign on with them, so all movies will be available as rentals.
